What is an Asset?

  • An Asset is any physical item (e.g., machinery, tools) that an organization owns and maintains. It is tracked for maintenance, repairs, and lifecycle management to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Assets are uniquely identified, and their maintenance history is recorded to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

How to Create a New Asset

  1. Enter Workspace:

    • Click on your Workspace Name to enter your workspace.
  2. Navigate to Administration:

    • Go to the Administration tab in the top navigation bar.
  3. Access Manage Assets:

    • Click on Manage Assets in the left sidebar.
    • Click the New Asset button on the top right side.
  4. Fill Asset Details:

    • Enter the Asset Name and other required details such as:
      • Asset Type
      • Asset Status
      • Criticality
    • Fill in any additional fields as required.
  5. Save the Asset:

    • Click the Save button after filling in the details.
  6. Confirmation:

    • Congratulations! You have successfully created a new asset.

Tip: Ensure all details are accurately filled for better tracking and maintenance of the asset.
